Description Labeled on tag "Spain," this female doll is dressed in a traditional fabric costume. Ankle-length dress has yellow top trimmed in red rick rack and narrow black bias tape. Red fabric skirt of dress is pleated at waist.. Dress is trimmed at hem with one yellow band and one black band. Bronze-colored long lace mantilla affixed to head with cardboard form held with small metal staples. Inky black hair has three spit curls around face and is adorned with red ribbon rosette and yellow fabric flower. Painted face with prominent eye lashes, brown eyes, and small red lips. Head, arms, torso, and legs of made of composition. Head, neck and shoulders have strung joints. She has an American made mohair wig and wears faux white leather boots with cardboard soles. Dress held to back of body with small metal staples. White gauze pantaloons and stiff white underskirt.
