Program for a meeting and lecture In aid of the British Imperial Relief Fund of New England. This fund was established in 1914 and contributed to various war charities in Great Britain and Canada. It also provided relief to over 200 families in New England whose breadwinners enlisted with the British forces. Listed on the cover are members of the Executive Committee.The inside cover lists patrons and the back cover lists patronesses. Two pamphlets were inserted into this program: How Two Britishers Won The Military Cross (1976.2694b) and an order booklet for books by Captain Ian Hay Beith (1976.1.2694c). |
