Physical Description |
Green leather covers with a buckram insert on both front and back covers, outlined in gold. Spines are brown leather, but likely were originally green and have faded out. The spines are segmented into 5 parts, divided by raised leather ridges and small gold designs. Gold lettering and designs fill the 5 sections. Top of pages are gold. Side and page bottoms are ragged edged. Endpapers are pink, light green and cream splatter design. The same pattern is on the outer cover buckram inserts. 'Ruisdael' watermark is on the last page of text of each volume. A scarlet ribbon page marker is in each volume. Illustrations: each volume has several photos or representations of dramatic scenes, or photographs of Norwegian landscapes.. H: 8.5"; W: 6"; D: 1.75" pagination: 484 pages |
