The pages list detailed information about the guests invited, the seating arrangements, the menu served, table decorations, occasion and location of the meal Each entry covers two facing pages. After lunch all guests but 2 boarded Mr. H Howe's yacht and went to Brenton Reef Light Ship off Newport to see the New York Yacht Club cruise yachts arrive. Mahogany colored leather cover with "Dinner Party Record" stamped in gold lettering centered on cover. Gold line edges record both front and back. Inscription by Byron in upper left corner. Each entry covers two facing pages. The left hand page shows table seating chart, The right hand page lists guests present or unable to attend. In addition is the menu, occasion for meal, where held and particulars of table decorations. Dimensions: 10.5" long x 8.75" wide, .75" thick. |
