Program in Commemoration of the Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of the Founding of the Society of Colonial Dames in the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, 1892-1917, in black ink on the cover. The cover also has an eagle above a profile within a circle, Colonial Dames of Rhode Island; these features are embossed in silver ink. The interior pages list the order of events and the women performing. The back page lists charter members as of March 8, 1892 and words to be said in unison as a Salute to the Flag. An insert has the words of The Star Spangled Banner and the Presentation of the Colors and Salute to the Flag (1976.1.2713b). The ceremony took place at the Esek Hopkins House in Providence. |
