This is the program for "The Man of the Hour," being performed for the "424 to 431st times" in the week beginning 10/21/1907. The front cover shows woman's profile in a mirror. She wears a decorated headband, earrings, and a necklace. Leaves and sword, crown and flag surround the mirror. Back cover has colored illustration of a man and woman sharing a bottle of "White Rock" water. Advertising copy is a variation of the nursery rhyme "Jack Sprat." Inside the front cover is an advertisement for Murad cigarettes. The last page is an illustration of the theater seating. Inside back cover shows a red and black advertisement for cigars. There are many black and white advertisements in the interior pages. |
Physical Description |
Front and back cover are printed in full color on thin matte card stock. Program contains 10 pages. Interior pages are printed in black on semi-glossy paper. It appears that the program was stapled with metal staples. Staples not preserved. Pages have been cut out by hand and some pages may be missing. |
