Jeffries Collection Box 01 Album 2020.2.JCP001 Jeffries Collection Album 01, c1900-1938 This album consists of 99 pages. Photographs are glued onto black pages, which have been removed from their cover, a black leather album 11" x 14" with "Blithewold" etched on the front in gold lettering.* The album includes photos of Prides Crossing (Shaw parents), Blithewold, Aubrey (Toland's house in Whitemarsh.) Photos of Tony Corey, family friend, son of Marjorie's friend Elizabeth Zinderstein who lived in Barrington. Tony dated Marge Jeffries seriously and remained a life-long friend of Nancy Pardee Abercrombie. A list of photos with names and dates are typed on the front and backside of three legal-size lined yellow papers (six typed pages total) are also included in the box. These correspond to some of the photographs in the album and were likely typed by a family member. Some of the photos in the listing seem to be out of order. This doc is attached in Media tab. Contents of Album are listed by page number; individual photos are listed by page number, then photo number. Note that only photos relevant to the 2023 "All About Augustine" exhibit have been individually numbered and described. Others have more general descriptions for all photos on a single page. *The album cover is stored separately from the album pages (stored with other album covers in Room301, Aisle 1, Bay A, bottom shelf).
