All photograph numbers listed below begin with 1976.1.P040.07 Photo#Photo Description 01a Sepia toned photograph showing an aerial view of Blithewold, taken from the West. The photograph shows empty fields across Ferry Road, an old barn, carriage house, and apartments south of Blithewold II and a well house to the east, c1930s. The deciduous trees are leafless. The house does not have shutters. Attached to the photograph: an e-mail sent to Fred Perry from Margaret Whitehead, dated May 29, 2013: "Fred, I spoke to Marge Jeffries about the barn and the garage changes. She thinks the barn section had already been taken down in 1936 when she lived here for a year. She has a very clear memory of cutting firewood with William McKee in the garden part, behind the apartments. Also, Julie Morris thinks that it is early 30s. Margaret." Original photograph. Stamped on the back of photograph: "Photographs by Wexford Corp. 13 Market Square Providence, R.I." Handwritten in pencil on back of photo:" Christmas Card Postal card. Dull." 7.00"W x 4.75"H. Holiday card with folded extra page, opening on right, fold on right. 7"W x 5"H. Good condition. 02.01 Series of black and white photocopies of aerial view of entire Blithewold property. Narragansett Bay Road is in the background to the east with Ferry Road to the west in foreground. The land to the east of Ferry Road is trees and pastures. The series of photographs gradually shows south to north and includes Walker"s Cove. Handwritten in pencil on 02.01: 1938 pre-hurricane." 11"W x 8.50"H. Fair condition.
