This World War I patch is part of a collection of 56 military patches. The patch is the insignia of the "Headquarters Second Army." The insignia is embroidered on navy blue wool. Embroidered in silver thread is the Roman numeral II in the center with the silhouette of an eagle on the left, the rampant lion on the right, and a thin embroidered border.
