This man's collar, likely linen and celluloid, has markings stamped in black ink: "E & W / IMPROVED, PAT. FEB. 1, 98 / TOPEKA / TRADEMARK" and "LOCKFRONT / REGISTERED / BUTTON THIS / END FIRST." There are five markings handwritten in black ink: "v257, v256, v2b2b" and two illegible markings.
