Description |
This international costume is a pale-blue / silver-blue lined kimono (a) with iris and butterfly embroidered decoration. The matching sash (b) is 90"long, 14"wide, has 6" woven tassel trim at the ends. Embroidered images are created with gray, sage green, and gold colored threads and are two-sided, seen clearly on both inside and outside of the kimono. The 17"-36" iris flowers "grow" from hem of kimono, with butterflies scattered throughout. On the ends of the sash are embroidered 13" iris and leaves. Overall measurements: shoulder to hem: 54", sleeve length 23" (collar to sleeve edge), 3" padded hem. |
