Description |
This World War I patch is part of a collection of 56 military patches. The patch is the insignia of the "Eighty-fifth (Custer) Division." This patch consists of a 2.25" capital C and capital D embroidered in red thread on Army green fabric, perhaps cut from a uniform. The back of the patch has stiff interfacing with a fragment of a French newspaper glued to it.
