Description |
Women's pale lavender silk shoes. Oval rhinestone buckle with silk ribbon, short flared heels, leather soles. 2.5" flared heels. The heel on this shoe is referred to as a "flared Louis heel", named after 18th century French King Louis XIV (the ‘Sun King’). It is described as a ‘romantic’ style, and it regained popularity in the late 1800s and continued in use though the 1910s-20s. In today's terms, this heel style might be referred to as a kitten heel. |
