Description |
One of 11 saucers for coffee cups. Made in England by Mintons. The full dinner set includes about 131 pieces of china. The china is cream color with a gold banded near the upper rim. The monogram in gold scrolled lettering has Bessie McKee's initials, BPMcK with the "K" superimposed over the other initials. The rim of the saucer has a gold band along the upper edge. While the china was made by Mintons in England, it was distributed by T. Goode & Co, London. The maker's mark reflects both companies. |

On recessed underside, in burgandy ink , "T.GOODE & Co./ LONDON/ MINTONS CHINA" with a crown above similar to that used by Mintons c1873 to 1912. Many pieces also have impressions, including "MINTON", "8" an open heart with an "S" that is similar to mark used by Mintons in 1885. |
