Hand embroidered shawl. Very fine, delicate linen; maybe pima cloth (pineapple cloth from Philipines). Square, hemmed edges with fagotting. Embroidery in one corner; probably Asian, may have been a gift since no daisy. From Bessie's wedding trousseau. |
