Description |
This is a rectangular wooden tray which holds a feather collage of a bird under glass. The bird, the branch it sits on and the tree leaves are all made of feathers, some cut intricately and some dyed to produce the bird's colors. The handles are of brass with a wood block insert. There are four small round wooden feet on the verso. The backing is cardboard or pressed board. |
