Description |
Left hand of pair of black suede gloves. Open at inside wrist, with the two pearlized buttons and buttonholes. Overcast stitch used for most seams, backstitch for open wrist area. Fingers are gusseted. These gloves (and several other pairs) were sent to Blithewold in January 2008, by Marge Jeffries, daughter of Augustine Van Wickle. She included a note reading that they are "gloves of my mother's that I have never worn. Why let them sit unused....") |
