Description |
This is a Chinese porcelain bowl painted on the exterior with large colorful butterflies on a yellow ground. The interior is painted with carp and a ruyi border in predominant tones of orange and green on a white ground.l There is a gold rim, now degraded, and the outer yellow face is striped with red at the base. There is no makers mark, but there is a faint stamp on the verso. The bowl sits on a carved teak wood stand. |
