Description |
Tureen, made in England by Mintons. The full dinner set includes about 131 pieces of china. There are two tureens, only one lid. This base has a crack on the bottom. The china is cream color with a gold banded rim. The monogram in gold scrolled lettering is Bessie MeKee's initials, BPMcK with the K superimposed over the other initials. While the china was made by Minton in England, it was distributed by T. Goode & Co, London. The makers mark reflects both companies. T. Goode was established in 1827 located in the heart of Mayflower and still continues today. They are famous for world class tableware, which includes a bespoke design offering. T. Goode holds two royal warrants and is very proud of the long standing relationship with the British Royal family. |
