Description |
This is a trunk of paperboard covered with a layer of heavy paper which is painted with designs in squares. Some are simply geometric designs, others are butterflies. There are three wooden horizontal straps fastened with galvanized rivets and five black vertical metal straps. The keyhole and fasteners are also galvanized similarly to the rivets. There are leather side handles held by black metal. The inside is covered with cream colored paper with a blue and red geometric design. There are two side boards which may have supported a removable tray. |
