Description |
This is one of four "programmes" describing the music selections on each of the four cylinders for the music box. The six selections on each cylinder are hand scribed on printed cards colorfully decorated with cherubs playing instruments and dancing. Each card is individually numbered. The selections on this cylinder are: 1:Manon Waltz Genss 2:A Trip to Africa March Suppe 3:GasparonnePolka Millocker 4:Merry WarMarch Strangs 5:Erminic Takobowski 6:Little Tycoon Lowe comes (?) likes Spenser (The type of music, in the second column, was written in subsequent to the initial script of the piece and the composer) At the top is written in: 656/ 6 Airs. PROGRAMME 11 1/4 Pouces. At the bottom is written in: No 51737 (in black) / 697 (in red). The MFS shield logo is in the bottom right corner. |
